Frequently Asked Questions
-
I'm in a lot of pain but my doctor says my x-rays are "normal". Could I still have a case?
It depends. While some discomfort can be expected following knee replacement surgery, you should not be in a lot of pain more than six months after surgery. Your x-rays might appear normal, but your knee implant can still be causing your pain. For example, if bone cement has separated from your implant, it would cause pain and loosening. However, it might not show up on your x-rays. Assuming the separation was caused by the design of your implant, you would have a claim against the manufacturer of your knee implant even though your x-rays appear "normal" at the moment.
-
What would it cost me to move forward?
We have a No Win, No Fee Guarantee. That means you owe us nothing unless we win. We cover all of the costs and only get paid if you receive a financial award. That's why we're selective about the clients we choose to work with and the lawsuits we pursue.
-
What could I recover in a lawsuit?
Every case is different and to give a ballpark value would be counterproductive. Every case must be carefully assessed. There are many factors that affect the value of an individual claim in a mass torts case. We would be happy to evaluate those factors in your case.
-
How long will my case take?
The duration of mass torts cases varies widely. Due to the serious and time sensitive nature of your case, the sooner you retain our representation, the better. We will dedicate our time and energy toward the positive resolution of your case.
